"No Steeple, Just People"

 Need Prayer? Just Ask.

James 5:13-16 says,

"Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."

We believe that the Bible means what it says.  We believe God heals people.  We believe confession and repentance is important.  And since we believe that if the prayers of a righteous man are powerful, the prayers of a slightly righteous man are hardly worth bothering with.  So we seek to be righteous so that our prayers may be heard and answered.  More than that, so that we can hear the voice of God and know the right prayer to pray.

Maybe God doesn't want to heal you. Sometimes we have to learn lessons and He's not going to release us until we've learned whatever it is He has for us. Or maybe there's some other reason, but we need to hear Him well enough to make sure we're not praying for something opposed to His will.

If you have a need, please call us at (816) 914-8422 or email to help@thechurchofliberty.com .  We're not really a "ministry" - we're not trying to sign you up for anything or ask for money or sell you anything.  We're just lovers of Jesus seeking to bring Him honor by doing the things He cares about most.  Like praying for and healing those in need.

And if you see one of us around town with the "Need Prayer? Just Ask"  t-shirts or buttons, feel free to stop us and ask in person.

Maybe you just want a hug, that's OK too.

Please just know that you're not alone.
